A Family Story Since 1755
Eight Generations. One Enduring Commitment.
What began as a hammer mill at Schwemmtratten has evolved over generations into an internationally active industrial group. Today, the company remains family-run in its eighth generation by the Offner family at its headquarters in Wolfsberg.
Alongside its tool manufacturing operations, the company established a sawmill as early as 1860. Through continuous development and investment, it has grown into one of the most modern facilities of its kind in Europe.
Another major milestone came with the development of cross-laminated timber in the 1990s, in collaboration with Graz University of Technology.
Since the integration of KLH Massivholz GmbH into the Group in 2012, this innovation has become a central pillar of the company’s activities.
Today, Offner represents the successful combination of tradition, technology and sustainable development – worldwide.
